Generative AI Hacakthon timings (2nd-3rd March)

Dear all,

Great to see a lot more people joining the Generative AI Hackathon. Due to popular opinion, we have spoken with Hack Cambridge and CUE members and decided to open this in-person event to everyone (Both students and non-students).

We wish to make this an event where all hackers/coders or newbies can all come and compete with each other!

A few updates that need to be addressed.

1) Team

If you have a team, please request them also to do the Devpost and ask them to fill in the google form with your details.

Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1MEP2DCwjl2GQzTDSWRoqgaae8hwVdoTFpR3gssO_Ov0/edit#responses

This would help us keep everyone aware of all the other events that we have planned in the coming year.

2) Hackthon timings

The in-person registration check for the Hackathon will take place from 0800 on Saturday the 2nd of March.

We aim to start the hackathon from 0900 and teams would hack at the Dept of Engineering rooms until 1800, after which we have to leave the premises.

We encourage all the participants who are coming over from outside Cambridge to book their hostel/hotel rooms along with their team members, as teams can keep on hacking post 1800. Please remember that Get Seen Ventures, Hack Cambridge and Cambridge University Entrepreneurs will not provide reimbursement for food (outside the event), travel and accomodation.

The next day (3rd of March), we would again open the Dept. of Engineering space for the hackers around 0800. Hackers would be given time till 1200 to submit their final project. The judges would look at the submissions and the top team(s) would be given time to give the live demo 1400 onwards.
